Mr. Ricky Bryant was born and raised in Lincoln County. He has been employed by the Lincoln County School System for 31 years. He has received degrees in Industrial Electricity from Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville and in Trade and Industry from Middle Tennessee State University at Murfreesboro. He began his teaching experience in 1989 by teaching Electricity/Electronics at Lincoln County High School and continued in this position until moving to a Central Office position as Supervisor of Facilities and Maintenance.

Job Description:

The supervisor of facilities and maintenance oversees all functions and operations related to the upkeep, repair, and improvement of facilities and grounds; upgrades the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance and custodial staff; oversees the proper functioning of the various systems within the physical facilities of the district; coordinates with safety personnel; helps develop budgets for capital outlay projects; and is responsible for maintaining all buildings to local, state, and federal standards. This position also is responsible for all new construction, projects, insurance matters, and infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with TDEC, TDOT, EPA, and the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
