Susan Welch currently serves as the Supervisor of Career Technical Education (CTE) and High School Counseling. With sixteen years of experience in education, she is entering her sixth year in Lincoln County. Previously, Mrs. Welch worked in the Dallas County School System in South Alabama. During the 2017-2018 school year, she served as a school counselor at Lincoln County High School, bringing experience from both elementary and secondary education roles since 2011.

Mrs. Welch holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida, along with a Master of Education (M.Ed) and Education Specialist (Ed.S) in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, as well as a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama.

Outside of her professional career, Mrs. Welch is married to Nathan, who works at Copperweld, and they have three daughters: Anna Grace, Sara Brooke, and Paisley. Having lived in San Diego, CA, and Jacksonville, FL, while her husband served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, Mrs. Welch developed a fondness for Auburn University and remains a devoted fan.
